Last night, our family experienced a loss that words can’t fully hold. My cousin Kori passed away, and our hearts are shattered.
Kori was truly one of a kind. She was quirky in the best possible way the kind of person whose personality couldn’t be copied. She had a special way of making you feel seen and important. When you would be with Kori, you felt chosen. You felt loved. You felt like you mattered.
Her nieces and nephew were her whole world. She adored them and poured so much of herself into being present in their lives cheering them on, laughing with them, creating memories they will carry forever.
She loved going to sporting events, especially cheering on the Ogden Raptors. You could always count on her to show up with excitement and heart, fully invested and having the best time. Those moments brought her so much joy.
Kori was also incredibly creative. Arts and crafts weren’t just hobbies they were part of who she was. She had an amazing imagination and a gift for turning ordinary things into something meaningful and beautiful. Her creativity reflected her heart: thoughtful, colorful, and full of life. She was an amazing photographer and she won blue ribbon in the state fare she had an eye for beauty even when no one else could see it at first
The space she leaves behind is indescribable. She was deeply loved, and she loved deeply in return.
We are starting this GoFundMe to help support my aunt and our family with funeral expenses and the unexpected costs that come with such a sudden loss. During this painful time, we want my aunt to focus on grieving and honoring her daughter and
not worrying about financial burdens.
If you are able to donate, share, or simply keep our family in your thoughts and prayers, we are beyond grateful. Every bit of support means more than we can say.
Thank you for helping us honor Kori’s life, her light, and the love she gave so freely.
