On December 18, 2025, I lost my beloved son, Kobe Singletary, at just 23 years old, to a fentanyl overdose in Adelanto. Kobe was kind-hearted, a jokester who could always make people laugh, and he had a deep love for animals. Despite the many hardships we faced, including homelessness in the High Desert for several years, Kobe was truly trying. He was working hard to get back on his feet and hoped to make better choices and build a better future for himself. Tragically, addiction took him before he could fully reach that new beginning. As a mother, there is no pain greater than losing a child, and my heart is broken knowing he is gone too soon.
I am currently unhoused myself and caring for my dog, and I do not have the financial means to cover the cost of my son’s cremation, urn, and memorial service. I am asking, humbly and with a heavy heart, for help in laying my son to rest with the dignity, love, and peace he deserves. Any amount, no matter how small, will help me honor Kobe’s life and memory. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more to me than words can express.
