In Loving Memory of Krishna “KK” Kotikalapudi & Asha — Supporting Suchay and Shivani
On January 4th, our hearts were shattered by an unimaginable tragedy. Krishna Kotikalapudi—lovingly known as KK—and his wife Asha were taken from this world in a devastating road accident through no fault of their own. They were returning home from India along with their kids, filled with joy and anticipation, eager to have a great 2026.
KK’s greatest wish was for his parents to meet his children—his 16-year-old son, Suchay, and 21-year-old daughter, Shivani, which he has achieved.
Both Suchay and Shivani survived the accident but suffered severe injuries. They have undergone major surgeries and remain in the ICU, facing a long and painful road to recovery—physically, emotionally. In a single heartbreaking moment, their world was turned upside down.
These two bright, kind, and promising young souls now face life without the loving guidance, protection, and support of their parents. They are still in school—one in high school and the other in college—and must now navigate adulthood while healing from trauma no child should ever have to endure.
While we can never replace the love of their parents, we can stand beside them as a community. We can help lift the financial burden of medical bills, education, and basic living needs so that Suchay and Shivani can focus on healing, studying, and rebuilding their lives.
We humbly ask you to open your hearts and extend your support—no matter the amount—to help secure a future that KK and Asha would have wanted for their children.
Your kindness today will become their hope tomorrow. Please feel free to forward to your family & friends.
Thank you for being a part of their journey.
Pavan (Asha’s brother)
Sailaja (KK’s sister)
