Honoring Kim's Fight: Support Her Last Journey

As much as I do not want to do this, I HAVE to reach out for help. My Mom, Kim, passed away this morning, June 30th, at 2:53am. This is something NONE of us were prepared for at all. She did not have life insurance (even though she should have) and battled stage 2 breast cancer that she fought all of 2022 like the fighter she is! Unfortunately, something was missed after she was considered in remission back in December. We found out at the beginning of June she had stage 4 liver cancer that spread to her bone marrow. She was ready to fight again and started her chemo and was in Capital Health Hospital all month. This past week, they informed us she had pneumonia and shortly thereafter was considered to have sepsis throughout her body.

The cancer did not take my mother; the infection did. She fought like heck through this entire thing. I know how hard times are for everyone right now. We appreciate literally anything that can help us lay my Mom to rest the way she wanted and deserved! Even just sharing to any of your social media platforms means the world to us! Thank you all for all the prayers all of our family and friends have sent during this entire month. We love and appreciate you all! Rest in peace, Mom, we love you so much!

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville with a prayer service beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing Twp., NJ.
