It’s hard to even find the words. On Friday, September 12th, we lost Kim Koch so suddenly and without notice. She went to work on Monday and Tuesday like it was a normal week, and by Friday everything had changed.

Kim was the heart of her family. She was a proud mom to Courtney and the most loving Taunta to her two grand boys, her pride and joy. If you knew Kim, you know she was a giver at heart. She loved helping others in their time of need and was always there to support the people she loved.

Courtney was by her mom’s side every single day, making sure Kim was cared for and never alone. Now she’s facing life without her mom, while still being the strong, loving mom her boys need. And as her bestie sister, I can tell you she should not have to carry all of this weight by herself.

So many of you have asked how you can help. The truth is, Courtney is now left with medical bills, household expenses, and the everyday costs of raising two growing boys. Anything you give will go directly to her to help keep her afloat, give her some breathing room, and most importantly, help her continue caring for her boys the way Kim, their Taunta, always did.
