On May 7th, the Thomas family experienced a heartbreaking loss as Khalilia "Kiki" Thomas passed away from complications related to lupus. Lupus is a cruel and unpredictable disease that attacks the body from within, and Kiki faced it with quiet strength for as long as she could.
She was a loyal and dependable presence in the lives of her family and friends—someone they could always count on. Now, as they grieve her loss, they are also faced with the heavy financial strain of medical bills and the cost of laying her to rest with dignity and love.
