Honoring Kiki Lopez & Supporting His Family
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Kiki Lopez after a courageous battle with cancer. Kiki was a loving husband, devoted father, and a true light in the lives of everyone who knew him.
Kiki leaves behind his best friend and spouse of almost 30 years, Carly. They were high school sweethearts whose love and partnership stood strong through every season of life. He also leaves behind their talented and beloved son, Austin Lopez, who was the center of Kiki’s world.
Kiki had a one-of-a-kind personality. He was incredibly funny, full of life, and could light up a room the moment he walked in. Even through his illness, his spirit never changed — he kept nurses on their toes and made people smile all the way to the end. That was just who Kiki was.
Beyond his family, Kiki gave so much of himself to the community of Key West. He had a big heart and a passion for helping kids, volunteering his time as a football and baseball coach. He believed in mentoring young people, teaching them not just the game, but teamwork, confidence, and heart. His impact will be felt for years to come.
This GoFundMe has been created to help support Carly and Austin during this incredibly difficult time. The family is facing medical expenses, funeral costs, and the sudden loss of income, all while trying to navigate life without their husband and father. Any donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden and allow them the space to grieve and heal.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Carly and Austin in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for your love, support, and kindness as we honor Kiki’s life and legacy.
