Honoring Kiera Shakoor's Beautiful Life
Donation protected
Hello, I am Jennifer Johnson, as friend of Kiera Shakoor and her brothers. It is with profound sadness and incredibly heavy hearts that we share the devastating news that our beloved Kiera Shakoor, at 19 years old, has pass away after a strong, courageous, and tireless war with cancer. PLEASE, WE NEED YOUR HELP. NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL. AS A COMMUNITY WE CAN HONOR OUR OWN. This situation could not be more difficult, Kiera's single mother, Koya Shakoor, passed away just four years ago from breast cancer. Kiera depended on her three brothers to love and care for her since her mother's passing. Will Shakoor Smith (24) gave up his job and persute of his college education, becoming Kiera's primary caregiver. Kiera's other two brothers, have spent as much time as possible with Kiera. Koyahn Smith (24) has been working two jobs and continued to pursue his second degree. Justin Smith (21) has set aside all his college due to demands placed on his life. Each brother has shown more dignity, honor, strength, faith, lhope and love above and beyond what anyone could imagine given their young ages. They too have strong faith which holds them up with grace and endurance.
They have stood shoulder to should for their mother and now Kiera.
Kiera was a light in this world, a testament to strength, faith, and unwavering joy. Her beautiful smile has the power to light up any room, instantly bringing warmth and comfort to those around her. Beyond her radiant presence, Kiera was a truly spiritual person whose deepest desire was to see others come to know Jesus and experience salvation. Even through her immense suffering, her faith never wavered; instead, it grew stronger, becoming an inspiration to everyone blessed with the privilege of knowing her.
Since Kiera was called home, her brothers face and unimaginable burden. While they are grieving the devistating loss of their precious baby sister, they are also grappling with the financial strain of funeral and burial expenses. No family should have to endure such profound loss while simultaneously worrying about how to provide a dignified farewell for a child who is their sibling. This battle is the second in just four years.
We are reaching out to you, our community, friends, and compassionate strangers to ask for support during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will directly assist Kiera's brothers in covering these essential costs, allowing them to focus on mourning and cherishing Kiera's memory without the added financial stress.
Let's come together to honor Kiera's beautiful life and provide her with the farewell she deserves. Your generosity will be a true blessing to a family heartbroken by this profound loss. The family has had no social security, or healthcare. They are missing every source of help so many people rely on. Please keep Kiera"s and her family and loved ones in your prayers.
Thank you for your kindness, your compassion, and your support.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The family and friends of KIera Shakoor
