Honoring Kevin’s Devotion and Lifelong Responsibilities

On May 15, 2026, we lost Kevin L. Burrell when he was tragically killed in a motorcycle hit-and-run in Cleveland, Ohio. Kevin was the bedrock of our family, a man who consistently took care of everyone around him. He loved his children and grand children dearly. His sudden absence leaves a profound emotional void, alongside a set of major family and household responsibilities that he took great pride in managing.

A Renaissance Man Devoted to Family

Kevin was 66 years old and was well known. He was the definition of a hardworking, intelligent, and resourceful man. Throughout his life he wore many hats: accountant, teacher, city worker, security officer, tax professional, landscaper, painter, and the person everyone called when something needed to be fixed.

More than anything, Kevin lived his life focused entirely on his loved ones. He leaves behind a grieving wife, his two surviving sons, three grandchildren who adored him, and another grandchild on the way. He is also survived by his two siblings and a handful of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Kevin was actively maintaining his home and building a future for his expanding family, and we are committed to ensuring that his ultimate goals and obligations are still fulfilled.

Securing His Legacy and Managing His Affairs

Because Kevin did not have life insurance, his sudden departure leaves unexpected logistical obligations. To manage this transition with dignity and protect the household Kevin worked so hard to sustain, we are establishing this fund.
