Kevin Andre Turner, was an amazing man, great father to my siblings and I, and a loving granddad to my son.

Being the oldest of three boys, he spent most of his childhood growing up in the local PG/DC area. After finishing middle school the family moved to Los Angeles, California where my father attended Dorsey High School.

He served in the Navy as a medic for four years, embedded with the Marines at 29 Palms in the Mojave Desert. After completing his service, he pursued getting his degree and became a graduate of American University located in Washington, DC.

For the last few months, my father faced a difficult battle with a rare disease called transverse myelitis, which affected his mobility and other parts of his body. Despite these challenges, he remained strong and continued to inspire us with his resilience and love. Sadly, he passed away on Thursday, March 12th, 2026.

We are now reaching out to our community for support as we navigate this difficult time. The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses, as well as any additional costs.
