Kendrick LaDerek Dunn, age 43, of Knightdale, departed this life on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, in Richmond, VA.

Funeral, 4:00 PM, Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh. Visitation, 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM, prior to the service. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, August 1, 2025, at the funeral home.

Kendrick leaves behind his children, Cameron Lancaster, Asiyah Ross, Amir Dunn, Nytire Watson, Lamonte' Dunn, Shynia Watson; parents, Pamela Brown (Danny Chavis) and Preston Bynum II; grandparents, Josephine Bynum and Margie Pittman Sherrod; siblings, Kelly Dickerson, Arie Dunn, Carlos Dunn, and Christopher Dunn; and a host of other relatives and friends.

With cherished memories, we are heartbroken and know that every day gets a step closer in grieving. We are thankful for all of you who came to visit, called, and sent donations to help us memorialize our loved one.
