Honoring Kemon Harris: A Beloved Son Husband Father & Friend

My name is Kristalyn Campbell, and I was so blessed to have Kemon Harris as my right-hand man, Assistant Manager, and most of all, my best friend. Tragically, due to unfortunate circumstances during a minor surgery, Kemon was unfortunately called home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, May 1, 2025. Kemon meant so much to so many in our small community here in Tallassee, Alabama. He had a big personality and an even bigger heart. Kemon brightened so many people’s lives every day. He was very outgoing and so humble. He brought such a warm presence with him. He was such a lovable person with so much love to give to everyone he came in contact with. He enjoyed having conversations with our customers about sports, a new country song, their children or grandchildren, or maybe even a small word of faith. He worked very hard to help support his wife and two small daughters, and he quickly became family to me and one of my favorite people ever.

As most of the people who knew him knew, he was 24 years old, and no one ever expected this tragic incident to happen to such a young man. And unfortunately, his wife has informed me that he did not have any kind of life insurance. I just wanted to make this to see if, as a community, we can come together and show our love for one of the best people I’ve ever met in Tallassee, Alabama, since I moved here. I know his family will appreciate any help they can get during this hard time. Let's help his family give Kemon Harris, aka Big Boi (to all the Notasulga Chevron customers), the proper burial that he deserves and celebrate the life of Kemon. Dance in the sky, Best Friend.

I’m editing this to add we laid him to rest today, however from where I’ve been told the funeral is still not paid for any donations can be made directly to the funeral home as well as here on this fundraiser. Also, any donations can be given to me at the location where he worked at Chevron Notasulga and all donations will go directly to the funeral home to pay for this precious friend of mine dues.
