On November 5, 2025, our family lost a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend—Keith Comstock after a courageous battle with metastatic lung cancer.
Keith was diagnosed in May 2025, and despite the cancer spreading to his sternum, spine, kidneys, colon, and eventually developing four brain tumors, he still faced each day with strength and dignity. His wife, Gwen Comstock (whom is also my sister), stood faithfully by his side, caring for him around the clock and ensuring he received the best comfort and love possible in his final months.
Sadly, during this same time, my sister Gwen lost her job. She devoted herself entirely to Keith’s care, and together they exhausted their savings on medical needs and daily living expenses. Now, in the wake of Keith’s passing, Gwen is left with no financial resources to cover:
- Cremation and memorial service costs
- Outstanding medical bills
- Household expenses that have piled up during his illness
They applied for Social Security assistance, but Keith passed away before benefits could begin, leaving Gwen without the support they had hoped for.
Remembering Keith
Keith was a man full of humor, and his laugh was contagious. He loved his family deeply and lived with a heart wide open. He had two daughters from a previous marriage and shared two step-children—a daughter and son—with Gwen. He leaves behind his wife, children, grandchildren, mother, father, and brother, all of whom adored him.
Keith had a love for life and knew how to enjoy the small things. He found joy in fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and love to every gathering, and his memory will continue to inspire those who knew him.
How You Can Help
We are asking for help to ease Gwen’s burden during this heartbreaking time. Any amount—big or small—will go directly toward covering Keith’s final expenses and helping Gwen find stability as she begins to rebuild her life.
Please consider donating or sharing this page to help Gwen during this difficult time. Your generosity will help ensure Keith is honored with dignity and that Gwen can focus on healing without the weight of financial stress.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support.
