Honoring Keeway's Memory

It is with profound heartbreak that I share the news of the unexpected passing of my baby brother, Keewaytheian C. Young, aka Teeter Weeter and The Claw. Keeway, as he is lovingly known, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 at 7:11 pm.  

Because of his unexpected passing, as his oldest sister and primary next of kin, I am having to step into the shoes my mom would have gladly worn to cover the expenses of his burial arrangements. This is not a situation anyone wants to find themselves in, but we have to deal with what life throws at us as best we can.

If you had the good fortune of experiencing Keeway’s life with him, you already know that he was a good man, family member and friend. He loved life and his people so profoundly. Like my mom, giving was in his DNA. If he had it, no matter how small, he gladly shared and gave to anyone in need.

The Young Family and Friends of Keeway are collecting donations for Keeway’s arrangements, including arranging travel for his four grandchildren to attend his services in Louisiana. For those who wish to support, any contribution, no matter how small, would be appreciated to help honor his memory.

Though never anticipated, each contribution is sincerely appreciated.  Thank you for your kindness, support, outreach and for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers.
