In Loving Memory of Kayla — A Devoted RBT and Cherished Friend

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Kayla, a remarkable soul whose compassion, dedication, and light touched countless lives. As a Registered Behavior Technician, Kayla approached her work with a rare blend of professionalism, patience, and genuine love. To the students and families she served, she was more than a RBT — she was a steady presence, a source of encouragement, and often, a reason to smile.

Her laugh was contagious, her heart open, and her commitment unwavering. She saw the potential in every student and celebrated the small victories that others might overlook — because to her, every step forward mattered.

To her colleagues, Kayla was not just a team member but a friend — the kind who stayed late to help, who remembered your favorite food, who could lift your spirits with a sarcastic joke or with 90’s hip hop. She offered advice when asked, a listening ear when needed, and strength when others felt they had none left to give.

Kayla’s legacy lives on in the progress of every student she helped, in the hearts of her friends and family, and in the community she helped build. She showed us what it means to care deeply, to give selflessly, and to live with purpose.

We want to raise funds for her husband, who she loved very much. We want to make sure that he has what he needs during this very difficult time.
