It is with shattered hearts that we share the unimaginable loss of our beloved Katy, who passed away on January 19, 2026, at just 40 years old, due to heart complications—two years after bravely undergoing a heart transplant.

She was a daughter, a sister, a cousin, a niece, friends to many, and a mother of three. Her children were the center of her world. Every fight she fought, every hard day she pushed through, she did for them. She loved fiercely, gave selflessly, and showed strength even when her body was tired. Her courage and resilience inspired everyone who knew her.

Despite all she endured medically, she never lost her kindness, her warmth, or her love for her family.l and friends. Her passing has left an unbearable emptiness—not only in our lives, but in the lives of her children who now face a future without their mom.

We have created this GoFundMe to help cover remaining medical expenses, memorial service costs (with services being held this Sunday), and most importantly, to help support her three children as they face the future ahead. Any funds raised will go toward easing the financial burden during this heartbreaking time and helping provide stability and care for her kids.
