Hello- I am organizing this gofundme for the most resilient person I have ever known, my Aunt Kathy or as many of you may call her, Kathleen (Kathy) Loveland or as she would prefer to be called, (Pegs or Lieutenant Dan lol). Tragically, Kathy was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident on 3/15/26 where she sustained and succumbed to multiple, significant injuries that most people would not be able to even fathom, let alone endure.
Prior to this tragedy, Kathy had overcome many hardships in life, including a double leg amputation from complications during Covid and various other traumas, big and small. Through it all, Kathy found light in darkness, strength in weakness, and a sick sense of humor to cope with all of what could've easily been her downfall. There is much to be said about such fortitude but I won't go on any further about such.....
Due to the horrific nature and pure shock of this sudden tragedy, we (Kathy's immediate family) are in a bit of a bind trying to gather funds to cover her death arrangements, which have not been determined or finalized yet. 100% of the funds raised in this gofundme will go DIRECTLY towards covering proper death arrangements and a future memorial service that will honor her memory and vibrant, courageous soul with dignity. The more we can raise, the less of a financial burden this will be. Let's give Kathy the hard-fought celebration she SO deserves!
*** I WILL CONTINUE TO UPDATE THE AMOUNT NEEDED AS ARRANGEMENTS BECOME CLEARER, HOWEVER, PLEASE KNOW THAT EVERY PENNY DONATED WILL BE GOING TOWARDS KATHY'S ARRANGEMENTS, MEMORIAL, AND LEGAL FEES RELATED TO HER UNTIMELY DEATH. MORE DETAILS ON THE MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE POSTED IN THE NEAR FUTURE AS ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE. WE WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS NOTIFIED. ***
On behalf of Kathy's immediate family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, to any and every person who donates, no matter the amount and thank you to every single person who has touched both Kathy and our lives by being there for us during this devastating time. We love and appreciate you ALL and we firmly believe that Kathy has finally found the peace that life never extended her and is no longer suffering.
RIP Kathleen Denise Loveland. We love you so very much.
