Hi everyone,

I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my lifelong best friend Allie, after the sudden and heartbreaking loss of her mother, Karen.

Karen was a remarkable woman whose kindness and generosity touched everyone around her. She devoted herself to the community wherever she could—volunteering at the St. Clements horse show, helping with school lunches, soup kitchens, and supporting the schools and churches we attended in countless ways. She was always there for us personally too: opening her home without hesitation, picking us up from school, raising us as if we were her own children, and offering hours of guidance and support whenever we needed someone to listen. Not to mention even making sure our stomachs were NEVER empty. Karen provided us with a safe space in so many ways.

Her passing has left a heartbreaking void, and Allie, her husband Tommy, and Allie’s father are now facing the emotional and financial challenges of this sudden loss. This fundraiser will help to cover funeral and related expenses so they can focus on grieving and honoring Karen’s incredible life.
