Honoring Karen Nelson: A Proper Goodbye

As some may know, Karen Nelson aka "Nellie" gained her angel wings on March 25, 2025, due to an unexpected heart attack caused by recent health complications.

Karen was a big part of the Oxford Hills community growing up, helping and working in any way she could help and give back to others.

In Karens more recent years she struggled with her health, making improvements in her life and around her home to make things a little easier for her. Due to renovations and getting a smaller vehicle for her to move a little easier the immediate family is short on funds to give her a proper goodbye and the party she deserves.

Her last wishes were to be cremated and to be kept with her closest loved ones.

She wished to be celebrated with all her friends and family in a way that she will be remembered in her own way the "Life of the party."

For anyone who wishes to celebrate and remember Karen, the celebration of life will be on June 7th, 2025 - Location is still to be determined but will be updated here when figured out.
