Hi everyone, my name is Amanda Paterson.

Yesterday, my mom, Karen Kane, passed away. We lost a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a friend—and truly the sweetest soul you could ever meet.

My mom was my world, my best friend, my everything. I’m not the same without her.

Over the past five years, she fought through so many health challenges. Her body and soul just couldn’t hold on anymore. But now, she is finally pain-free, and reunited with her parents in heaven.

I miss her more than words can say.
