On June 30th 2025 we lost one of the greatest souls this world has ever seen. Kalista was not only a wonderful mother to John and Lillian, she stepped into being such a positive parent to my son Caleb as well. She was the brightest light in the darkest times for us all.

For those that knew Kalista knew she battled domestic violence for over 14 yrs. Her life cut short by a senseless act of violence by the actions of her ex boyfriend. She was on the road to healing from her past. She finally was in a safe place with her children. She was happy and she was free.

She was happiest in pink and glitter. Happiest when she knew the ones she loved were safe and at home. Her smile lit up the night sky. She was breathtaking and her soul even more.

She worked so hard to raise her children and give them the best she could despite the circumstances. Working upwards of 80 hours a week at times to provide for them. She was passionate about many things. If your kids knew Kalista she was mom instantly. The world lost the kindest soul.

In this darkest hour we are asking for help to give Kalista the send off she deserves. Anything helps and is much appreciated. If you knew Kali you know she never asked for help. Ever. Anything above and beyond funeral arrangements will be put into a trust for her children to help give them a brighter future.
