Kalele Kabon Gurisho was born on January 1st, 1965 in Tayknaba, Eritrea. He was raised there, then moved to Ethiopia in 2008 with his family. Kalele lived 6 years as a refugee in Shimelba refugee camp. He moved to the states in 2015. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a father, grandfather, brother and uncle, who peacefully departed this world on March 25, 2025 in Marshalltown, Iowa. Kalele was a joyful person who filled every room with love and laughter. At this very dark time, we are asking for your support in helping us fund his farewell.
