Kaleb Ortega was a joyful, busy little boy who filled every moment with life. He was always on the move, happiest when he was playing, exploring, and especially when he was with his big sister, his best friend. The two of them spent hours together, laughing, playing, and making memories that their family will hold onto forever.

Kaleb had a special love for monster trucks and took such pride in his collection. Each night before bed, he would carefully line them up, showing his sweet and thoughtful little personality. His smile and those beautiful, bright eyes could light up a room, and he was deeply loved by everyone who knew him. He brought so much joy to his family and friends, and being with him was something truly special.

On what started as a normal, happy day filled with play, an unimaginable accident occurred that took Kaleb from us far too soon. No one could have anticipated the heartbreak that would follow. While we are overwhelmed with grief, we are also holding tightly to the countless beautiful memories he gave us memories that feel like precious gifts.

We know that Kaleb is now with Jesus, and that brings us comfort as we walk through this painful time. Still, his absence will be felt every single day, and he will forever be missed beyond words.

We are asking for support to help cover funeral expenses and to give Kaleb’s family the time and space they need to grieve and begin to heal. Any donation, no matter the amount, or simply keeping this family in your prayers, means so much. Kaleb is my nephew, our family is navigating this heartbreaking and unexpected loss together, and we created this fundraiser to help support them during this incredibly difficult time. I am personally involved in coordinating support efforts and communicating directly with his parents and close family members regarding their immediate needs.

All donations will go directly toward supporting Kaleb’s immediate family and the expenses associated with this tragedy, including memorial arrangements, travel, time away from work, and ongoing family needs during this period of grief and healing. I will personally ensure that funds are transferred directly to the family and used solely for the purposes outlined in this fundraiser.

This fundraiser was created out of love for Kaleb and his family during an unimaginable time. Our hope is to ease even a small portion of the emotional and financial burden they are carrying so they can focus on grieving, healing, and being together as a family. Every donation, prayer, message, and act of support means more than words can express. We are deeply grateful for the kindness and compassion being shown to our family. This fundraiser is being managed by me, Mimi Garcia, on behalf of my sister Claudia Garcia & Miguel Ortega, Kaleb’s parents. All funds raised through this campaign will go directly to them and their little girl, Kamila, to help support the family during this unimaginable loss.

Kaleb Ortega era un niño alegre y lleno de energía que llenaba cada momento de vida. Siempre estaba en movimiento, más feliz cuando jugaba, exploraba y, especialmente, cuando estaba con su hermana mayor, su mejor amiga. Los dos pasaban horas juntos, riendo, jugando y creando recuerdos que su familia atesorará para siempre.

Kaleb tenía un amor especial por los monster trucks y se sentía muy orgulloso de su colección. Cada noche antes de dormir, los acomodaba con cuidado, mostrando su dulce y atenta personalidad. Su sonrisa y esos hermosos ojos brillantes podían iluminar cualquier habitación, y era profundamente querido por todos los que lo conocían. Trajo tanta alegría a su familia y amigos, y estar con él era algo verdaderamente especial.

En lo que comenzó como un día normal y feliz, lleno de juegos, ocurrió un accidente inimaginable que se llevó a Kaleb demasiado pronto. Nadie pudo haber anticipado el dolor que vendría después. Aunque estamos abrumados por el dolor, también nos aferramos a los innumerables y hermosos recuerdos que nos dejó, recuerdos que se sienten como regalos preciados.
