Honoring Kaiden’s Life and Helping His Family

Hello, my name is Johanna. My work partner Nathan Simpson and his wife Allison lost their 13 year old son Kaiden Simpson today 3/16/2026.

Nathan has been a paramedic in Wichita Falls for years, and has been my partner at AirEvac over a year now. Allison is a RN and known for her gentleness and dedication in the L&D & Mother Baby. They both serve our community, and it’s our turn to help them.

Kaiden was involved in a side by side accident on Friday evening 3/13/2026, and he flown to Cooks Medical Center by Air Evac 68.

Kaiden was kind, thoughtful, adventurous, intelligent, inquisitive, mischievous and fun loving. It is often said that God takes the purest home first, in taking Kaiden home so soon it ~ must be true. Even in death Kaiden is choosing life, as he is donating his organs so that others may live.

We all know how expensive medical bills are, and couple that with the unexpected tragedy, missed work and the expense of daily life - it can become overwhelming quickly.

We have gotten together to start this account for Nathan and his family to take some of the stress away, and take care of Nathan and Allison in the same way as they have been there for all of us.
Any donations help. Thank you for contributing, and please share this so we can get the message out.
