Honoring Kai: 18 Years of Unconditional Love

On Saturday, April 26th, 2025, I had to make the hardest decision of my life — to say goodbye to my best friend and constant companion of 18 years, Kai.

Kai wasn’t just a dog — she was family, a source of unconditional love, and a reminder to live with heart, courage, and joy.

Many of you have asked how you can support me during this time. I’ve set up this fundraiser to help cover Kai’s final veterinary and memorial costs, grief support, and allow me time and space to heal and honor her legacy.
