Honoring Justin’s Legacy: Support for His Family

Life is so tender, fragile, and precious, and it breaks our hearts to share that our beloved Justin Eric Marquez has reached the end of his life’s journey on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

He was an outstanding dad, son, brother, grandchild, nephew, cousin, and friend. Justin had a sweet, gentle, and kindhearted spirit, befriending everyone he met. He filled the room with his big presence, infectious laughter, and endless jokes. His Puerto Rican Southern drawl brought warmth and joy to the family, making every moment with him unforgettable.

Justin had a deep love for basketball and football, playing both sports from childhood through high school. He was passionate about rap music, dancing, and performing comedy skits, and he had a knack for being a successful and lucky gambler, somehow hitting every parlay.

Above all, Justin’s greatest and proudest accomplishment was becoming a father. His daughter was his pride, his joy, and his legacy.

It is incredibly difficult to wrap our hearts and minds around the reality that he is no longer physically with us. As the only male on the maternal side of the family and 1 of 6 on the paternal side, he embraced his role, and we definitely spoiled him. He truly enjoyed life.

No one is ever prepared emotionally or financially for such a devastating loss, especially at such a young age. I hope to ease this unexpected hardship for his parents, and any contribution would be deeply appreciated.
