On March 17th, Justin Murphy of Tracy tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on his way home from work, leaving behind his girlfriend and their five-month-old daughter, Amelia.

Justin had a heart for others that was impossible to miss. He was the kind of person who would pull over to help a stranger without hesitation or give his last dollar to someone who needed it more. He lived with generosity, kindness, and a fearless spirit.

He was a true daredevil—he loved motorcycles and cars, and was always chasing the next adventure. He had plans to go skydiving, and he was always ready to get out, explore, and experience life to the fullest. He loved San Francisco, often finding his way to the water, where he felt most at peace.

But more than anything, Justin was a devoted and doting father. He was so proud of Amelia and talked constantly about all the things he couldn’t wait to teach her—fishing, riding a dirt bike, driving a stick shift, changing her own oil, using tools, and seeing the world. He wanted her to grow up strong, capable, and confident.

While Amelia will always know how deeply her father loved her, she will grow up without his presence, guidance, and the life he dreamed of sharing with her.
