My name is Ingrid, and on 11/12/25, my family and I experienced the heartbreaking loss of my dad, Julio Alfredo Salazar. After a difficult medical journey, he passed away peacefully, leaving behind my mom and his four children, who loved him deeply. His passing has left a huge emptiness in our home and our hearts.

Julio was a hardworking man who always prioritized his family over himself. No matter how much or how little he had, he always gave thanks and glory to God for every blessing. He lived with humility, gratitude, and a quiet strength that impacted everyone around him.

Some of my dad’s favorite moments were the simple ones. He loved eating pan dulce and drinking coffee with my mom in the mornings, watching soccer, and going to the beach with his family. The little things brought him joy, and they are the memories we will hold onto forever.

As we begin to process this loss, we are also facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. My mom is now left with a single income, and my 16-year-old brother is still in school. We want to give my dad a respectful and peaceful service that honors his life, but the costs are more than we can manage on our own during this time.

We are asking for support — of any amount — to help cover:

• Memorial arrangements

• Support for my mom and brothers as they adjust in the coming weeks
