In Memory of Judy Rose Romero.
We are raising funds in memory of our beloved grandmother, mother, sister, widow, and friend, Judy Rose Romero. She was born on November 21st, 1950, in the San Fernando Valley. She was a proud mother of three, grandmother of eight, loving dog owner to Buddy, and wife to her late husband Charlie for 35 years. She lived in Oxnard, California, where she built a loving community. Judy could be described in one word: selfless, as she always prioritized others before herself.
After her recent diagnosis of Stage 4 colon cancer, Judy and her family were determined to fight the disease. Her love for her family motivated her to keep pushing forward with treatment, despite several attempts to receive chemotherapy and find hospitals that could help. Even during this difficult time, Judy was only worried about others and the financial burden her family might carry after she passed. She remained humorous and compassionate, using all the strength she had to express her love for her family until the very end of her fight with cancer.
Unfortunately, cancer won, and on Sunday, March 8th at 4:39 AM, Judy passed away peacefully at the age of 75, surrounded by loved ones. She passed believing she had left her family without financial burden, and to help make her final wishes come true, we ask for your support.
We are currently raising money for funeral expenses, memorial services, and medical expenses. Please find it in your heart to help relieve the Romero family’s burden as we are all in this grieving process together.
Thank you for any support whether it’s sharing or donating, it will all aid her expenses. Judy’s memorial services will be announced soon.
With immense gratitude,
The Romero Family
