Judith Ann Sweet-sorgenfrei, lovingly known as "Rusty" and "Mama Bear," passed away quietly on November 21, 2025. She was a devoted mother to Jennifer (deceased), Donna, William, and Janessa, and a proud grandmother to Amanda, Crystal, Amber, Charlie, Brayden, Aiden, Rhianna, Javion, and Nathaniel. Judith was a passionate supporter of Alcoholics Anonymous, celebrating 42 years of sobriety and helping countless people on their recovery journeys. When the pandemic began, she embraced online meetings and formed deep connections with people around the world, always offering support and encouragement. Her commitment to AA and her community was truly at the heart of who she was.

My mom spent the last year and a half of her life mostly in the hospital, facing many challenges with strength and grace. She made a lasting impact on everyone she met, and her love and wisdom will be missed by so many. One of her final wishes was to have some of her ashes spread in the mountains of Amarillo, Texas, alongside her siblings. I am committed to honoring this wish, as well as taking care of her storage units and medical bills that remain.

I am reaching out for help from friends, family, and anyone whose life was touched by my mom. Your support will help me fulfill her final wishes and cover these important expenses. I am proud to be her child, and I know she will never be forgotten. Thank you for any help you can give. I love you, Mom!
