Sir Jude Nnam, popularly known as "The Ancestor," is a highly influential Nigerian composer, songwriter, and musician, widely considered the most prolific creator of modern Catholic liturgical music in Africa. With over 2,000 original compositions in multiple languages, his music is a staple in African churches. He serves as the National Music Director for the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
As Jude Nnam celebrates his 60th birthday, the Church and community at large are fundraising to support the #JudeNnamat60 Project, which includes a Jude Nnam Symphony concert with a full orchestra in Abuja, an album, Jude Nnam High Mass, and celebration.
