A devoted single mother of three, Juanita worked tirelessly—often holding two jobs—to make ends meet, always placing her children’s needs before her own. She was first diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in early 2020 and went through very difficult treatments with great strength. After a period of remission, her cancer returned in early 2025, spreading to her brain. Despite undergoing brain surgery and being told she might never walk again, Juanita defied the odds and slowly recovered. Later that year, the cancer spread to her blood as leukemia. Through every challenge, her greatest wish was to remain with her family until the very end.
Juanita was a loving mother and grandmother, a cherished friend, and above all, a faithful servant of God who touched many lives in her community. Over the past four years, her children lovingly supported her medical and living expenses. As the family grieves this profound loss, they are now facing funeral and memorial costs.

Juanita fue una madre soltera dedicada de tres hijos. Trabajó incansablemente —muchas veces con dos trabajos— para salir adelante, siempre poniendo las necesidades de sus hijos antes que las suyas.
