Juan Antonio Rosas, known as Tony, was a bright and caring person who had just graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in the medical field. He was a beloved son, dad, brother, uncle, friend, classmate, and coworker. Tony was always full of life and happiness, bringing joy to everyone around him. His dream was to continue his education, earn a master’s degree, and return to his community in Fresno, CA to help those in need as a medical professional.
Tragically, Tony went missing three weeks ago, and after an extensive search by his family—especially his two sisters who traveled repeatedly from Fresno to San Diego—he was found deceased in a hiking area near his home. The loss has devastated his parents, sisters, nephews, medical coworkers, and his teacher, all of whom remember him for his kindness and dedication to others. The family is now facing the difficult task of bringing Tony home to Kerman, CA, where he will be laid to rest alongside his brother.
This fundraiser will help cover the costs of funeral and memorial services, as well as the significant travel expenses the family has incurred and will continue to face as the investigation into Tony’s passing continues. Your support will help the family honor Tony’s memory and bring him home to rest in peace.
