Honoring Joshua: Support His Family's Needs

My name is Abbey (Pride). I grew up next door to Joshua Detchemendy and have been a close friend since I was 8. We are all in shock and deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved friend, Joshua Detchemndy. Joshua exuded pure love and light. He showed love to the people around him with the food he created, warm and comforting hugs, and his unforgettable and mischievous laugh. He was always there for those who needed him and was a major part of the growth in the downtown community of Augusta, GA. Joshua made everyone feel loved and valued, and his transcendent and unconditional love for his children and family will never be matched and will be greatly missed.

The Detchemendy family has suffered the loss of Mark, Joshua's father, and Noah, Joshua's little brother, all within 10 months. Joshua also has two children, Oscar (19) and Magnolia (8). Many have asked what they can do to help, and I asked the family if I could set up a way for all to show our love and support. All funds will go towards expenses associated with Joshua's passing and into a secured investment fund for his children.
