Honoring Joshua Risby Garcia: Support for Cristie & Noah
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and community,
It is with profound sorrow that we share the passing of a cherished husband, father, friend, and fellow Airman—Joshua Risby Garcia, Retired United States Air Force Technical Sergeant and devoted motorcycle enthusiast.
Josh’s sudden departure has left an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. As we grieve this tremendous loss, we are reaching out on behalf of his wife, Cristie, and son, Noah, to humbly ask for support in easing the financial burdens that often follow such tragedy.
In Cristie words,
On May 28th, our world was forever changed. My husband, Joshua Risby, was taken from us far too soon in a tragic motorcycle accident. The loss is unimaginable and has left a deep hole in our hearts and lives.
Josh proudly served in the military for 20 years, he carried that same strength, loyalty, and selflessness into everything he did. He was more than just a soldier; he was a devoted husband, an incredible father, and a loving fur papa to our pets. He had a heart bigger than words can ever describe. Always ready to lend a hand, share a laugh, or always showing up for the people he loved.
This loss was sudden and unexpected, and while we are still processing the emotional pain, we are also facing the financial strain that comes with it, from memorial costs to household expenses. If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to our family. Every little bit helps and is deeply appreciated during this time of heartbreak and healing.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, and thank you for your kindness, support, and love.
With love and gratitude,
Cristie, Noah, Mocha, Sassy, Honda, Meadow & Fish
