Honoring Josh Lott: Support for Harvey & Finnley
Donation protected
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joshua Randolph Lott on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, at the age of 39. He leaves behind a family that he loved reverently, especially his beloved twin boys, Harvey and Finnley Lott, who were his most hallowed treasures.
In this time of grief, we invite you to contribute to his legacy through a GoFundMe campaign created to support his children as they navigate life without their devoted father. Your help will ensure that Harvey and Finnley will feel the love and support that Josh poured into their lives each day as well as helping with his funeral expenses.
Josh lived a life filled with exuberance and spirit. He had a unique ability to extract joy from every moment, whether it was dancing barefoot by the riverbank, sharing laughter over a spontaneous moment, or stopping to collect wildflowers on a whim. His infectious laughter could lift the heaviest of spirits, making even the darkest days feel brighter.
A high school football player turned outdoor enthusiast, Josh spent countless days guiding rafts down the rivers, relishing the adventures life had to offer. His playful nature extended to his nephews and nieces, with whom he shared bonds of love and joy. But it was when he played and spent time with Harvey and Finnley that he truly came alive; he immersed himself in fatherhood with an intensity that radiated love.
Josh adored his grandma Carolyn, who remains a guiding light in the family, and he cherished the memory of his grandfather Harvey, who passed on before him. His mother, Shari, was a source of unwavering support and encouragement throughout his life. Though his father Randy has also passed, Joshua carried the lessons of love and resilience that he imparted.
He shared a unique bond with his older sister Miranda and his brother Dusty, both of whom were incredibly important to him. The laughter and love shared among them reflected the strong family ties he held dear. He also maintained a deep respect and connection with the mother of his children, Brittany Alexander, working together to create a loving environment for Harvey and Finnley.
Though Josh faced his struggles, it was not the essence of who he was but rather an aspect of his journey. He taught us the importance of loving fiercely, pursuing dreams wholeheartedly, and fully celebrating the moments we are given.
As we remember Josh, we choose to honor the laughter, love, and warmth he brought into our lives. He was a southern gentleman with a radiant grin and a heart that welcomed everyone. Josh's spirit will live on in the memories we share and the love he cultivated.
Thank you for celebrating Joshua's spirit and helping us keep his memory alive.
