We are so grateful to have known Josh Alves, and every one of us has been blessed by his friendship and his love for Jesus, his family, and God's church. This sudden loss feels shocking and heartbreaking on every level. It doesn’t make sense. Our hearts can’t grasp the how or why of any of it. But we know this without a doubt, that Josh loved Jesus, that he is with him now, and that the day will come when we will join him. What great hope. Please pray for his wife, Amy and their kids Lilly, Haley, Gabe, and Emma as they walk this long road of sorrow and grief and healing. We want to come alongside Amy and the kids in every way we can. Giving financially is one way we can bear some of this burden with them. Everything given will go towards funeral expenses and helping the family figure out and get through the next year without Josh, who was the primary financial provider. What a privilege that we get to be the body of Christ as we care for and grieve with this most wonderful family.
