Hello everyone. My name is Brook Lynn Valoy. I was Jose David Buitrago Arbelaez's girlfriend. I am currently helping to raise funds for Jose's funeral expenses which will be given to his aunt, the beneficiary, Cathryn J Quiroga to manage and disburse for expenses.

On December 5th, Jose David Buitrago Arbelaez passed away. At only 17 years old, he had already enlisted in the Marine Corps with the dream of becoming a pilot. He was an honor roll student at Passaic High School, known not only for his hard work in the classroom but also for the kindness he brought into every part of his life. Jose had a heart of gold; he always put others before himself and made it a point to help anyone who needed support. His kindness, determination, and big dreams touched everyone around him, and he will be remembered for the love and light he brought into the world.

With the funds given, Jose’s family will be able to bury him properly and give him the respectful farewell he deserves. His memory will live on through the love, generosity, and bright spirit he shared with so many.

El 5 de diciembre, falleció José David Buitrago Arbeláez. Con tan solo 17 años, ya se había alistado en la Infantería de Marina con el sueño de ser piloto. Fue un estudiante con honores en la Preparatoria Passaic, conocido no solo por su arduo trabajo en clase, sino también por la generosidad que aportó a cada aspecto de su vida. José tenía un corazón de oro; siempre priorizaba a los demás antes que a sí mismo y se esforzaba por ayudar a quien lo necesitara. Su generosidad, determinación y grandes sueños conmovieron a todos a su alrededor, y será recordado por el amor y la luz que trajo al mundo.

Con los fondos donados, la familia de José podrá enterrarlo dignamente y darle la despedida que merece. Su memoria perdurará a través del amor, la generosidad y el espíritu brillante que compartió con tantas personas.
