"Life -
I believe that before we were born, our souls choose this life. Every experience, every connection, every challenge, nothing is random. Each moment is part of the path we design to help us grow, love, and remember who we truly are. When we realize this we stop asking why is this happening to me? And start seeing life as, this is happening for me you didn't come here on accident. Your soul helped create this life. The people you meet, lesson you learn, even the obstacles you face, you're designed it all as part of your growth, why you remember that you step out of victimhood and into power. Life stops being something that happens to you, and becomes something you're co-creating everything. It's like we wrote the outline of our story before we start living."
-Jose Santana 12.22.25
Jose was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished brother, an uncle, and a friend to many. He was a kind man with a heart of gold and a laugh that could light up any room—a laugh I will never forget and look forward to hearing again one day in heaven. Jose found joy in life's simple pleasures, spending time outdoors, golfing, watching race cars, playing dominoes, and being surrounded by the people he loved most.
He was known throughout his community as a hardworking and generous handyman. There truly wasn't anything Jose couldn't do. More importantly, he never hesitated to help others, always going out of his way to lend a hand whenever someone was in need. His selflessness, humility, and willingness to serve left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Jose was a God-fearing man who loved his wife dearly and lived his life guided by faith, compassion, and integrity. His sudden passing due to a massive heart attack has left our family devastated. From one moment to the next, our lives were forever changed.
We believe God has called Jose home through the gates of heaven, but his legacy of love and kindness will live on through all of us. We are humbly asking for support to help our family cover funeral expenses and immediate living costs during this incredibly difficult time. We will be having viewing and praying services on Jan. 30 in Palm Bay, then he will be flown to NYC for and a second service and placed to rest. Any donation, prayer, or share is deeply appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Something you may not have know about Jose was he was a foster parent to many children while also being a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Council 7408
Here are some kind words from loved ones:
"He was a dear friend for over 13 years. The world will miss you Jose! So incredibly sad. May you rest in peace. Heaven needed you more I'm sure you're up there painting or fixing something!"
