Hi, my name is Anaïs Mignon, and I’m raising funds in honor of my father, Joseph Mignon who passed away suddenly at just 56 years old. His loss came without warning and has left our family in complete shock.

My dad was the kind of man whose presence made life brighter. He was warm, funny, generous, fun, wise, loving, witty, and endlessly giving with his time, his knowledge, his connections, and his heart. He showed up for everyone. He supported Haitian culture, uplifted artists, guided so many people, and always made room for others. To know him was to feel seen, welcomed, and cared for.

He was a devoted father to me and to my little brother Luca Mignon, whom he loved deeply and spent so much time with. He was our safe place, our laughter, our encouragement, and our guide. Losing him so suddenly has left a hole in our family and in the many lives he touched.

We want to honor him the same way he honored others with dignity, love, and respect. We want to give him the kind of farewell he deserves, surrounded by the people whose lives he impacted. These funds will help us cover funeral arrangements, a beautiful celebration of life next weekend, and support for his family as we navigate this painful transition.
