Joseph Mashaw, known to many as Cadillac Joe, spent his life bringing joy and energy to those around him. After living in New Orleans for the past couple decades, Joe passed away at home, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, dedication and an infectious laugh unmatched by any other. He worked for over 30 years as a product specialist and in-vehicle host, traveling the country for the Auto Show circuit. Joe’s love for golf and and his job was well known, and he always found ways to share his passion. Though he lost his mother, father, and brother in recent years, Joe remained close to his extended family in Michigan and built strong connections wherever he went.

We are organizing a memorial service to honor Joe’s life and bring together those who cared for him. The service will be held at the Royal Oak Elks Lodge, 2401 E Fourth Street, Royal Oak, MI, on September 20th, 2025, from 3pm to 8pm. Funds raised will help cover the rental of the hall and food for guests, ensuring a meaningful gathering to celebrate Joe’s memory. Any remaining contributions will go toward the care of his beloved dog, Fidget, who was always by his side.
