My name is Patricia Barker, and I am the mother of my beloved son, Joseph Christopher Moore. I am creating this fundraiser during one of the most painful times in my life. My son Joseph’s life was tragically taken from us, and our family is completely heartbroken. He was laid to rest on April 8th, 2026 in Kent, Washington, but the pain of losing him is something we will carry forever.

Before this tragedy, Joseph proudly served in the United States Army. He was strong, disciplined, and had so much love for his family and those around him. He had a bright future ahead of him, with dreams, goals, and so much life left to live. As a mother, no words can truly express the pain of losing a child. I am now left trying to navigate life without my son while also handling the financial burden that comes with laying him to rest and honoring his life properly.
