Supporting the Memory of Jose Juan Ramirez

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved son and brother, Jose Juan Ramirez. After recently coming home in March of this year from being incarcerated for 20 years, Jose was rebuilding his life with hope and excitement for the future. He was reconnecting with family and friends, catching up on lost time, and embracing every opportunity with gratitude and a smile.

Despite all he endured, Jose’s warmth touched every person he met. He had a big heart, endless love for his family, and a spirit that brought light, laughter, and compassion into any room. He deserved so many more years surrounded by love and freedom. Jose was also the kind of person who could make anyone laugh, his jokes, his teasing, and his fun personality filled our home with joy. He loved his toys, especially his trucks and bikes, and he enjoyed every moment he had with them like a kid at heart. His bright spirit reminded us to find happiness in the small things and appreciate the freedom of life.

This loss is a tragedy for our family, and the pain of losing him so suddenly is something we are still trying to understand. As we try to navigate this unexpected loss, our family is working together to honor Jose’s life in a way that reflects the love and joy he brought into ours.
