With a heavy heart, shattered even, we have to share the passing of my loving dad, Jose Elias Ortega. He gained his wings on 12/27/2025. He was such a loving grandfather and great-grandfather, and he had a heart of gold, showing nothing but pure and unconditional love to us all. We will all miss him so much, especially all his grandbabies.

As we navigate this difficult time, our family is faced with the unexpected costs of funeral arrangements. We want to honor Jose’s memory and give him the farewell he deserves, but the financial burden is more than we can manage alone. Your support will help us cover these expenses and allow us to focus on celebrating his life and legacy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help cover funeral expenses. Donations to the memorial fund are welcome in honor of my father, Jose Elias Ortega "Pepe". He is survived by his wife, 4 children, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
