It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jose DuBois. He was best known for his generous heart, his fine taste, and his love for Christ. Many knew him for his coffee, his cooking, and his charismatic personality. He was a friend to many, a beloved son, a gregarious brother, and a cherished grandson.

His passing is sudden and unexpected, as he was in a high speed car accident. His injuries were fatal, but he did not suffer. While this will definitely come as a shock to those who cared for him, as it was equally shocking to the entire family, we ask that you refrain from asking questions of the family at this time. It has been difficult for the family to process this disheartening news, and it will be a challenge to move forward without Jose here with us. 

We take comfort in knowing that Jose has now begun his eternity with the Lord. He trusted Jesus Christ with his earthly life, as many can attest to, and he is now present with him. We also thank God that Jose has been reunited with his mother, who passed away in 2003. As it says in 2 Corinthians 5:8, “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
