Honoring the Life of Jose Domingo Pagan
It is with deep sadness that I share the passing of my beloved father, Jose Domingo Pagan, born November 24, 1974.
To know Jose was to love him. He was a man with a big heart who despite life’s many challenges, continued to fight and push forward. Throughout his life, he endured many trials, including struggles with sobriety. In recent years, he made meaningful strides, actively working to maintain both his life and his sobriety while also courageously battling cancer in remission.
Jose was the son of Nereida Guzman and Jose Pagan Sr., and he is survived by his only child, Renita Pagan, his loving mother, Nereida Guzman and sister, Diana Cartegena Laboy.
On Monday, April 20th, Jose was found in his home in Yonkers. His passing was sudden and unexpected, and our family is now faced with the emotional and financial burden of laying him to rest. We recently explored life insurance options, but due to his health conditions, coverage was not attainable at a manageable cost.
At this time, we are asking for any support you can give. No amount is too small. Your donations will go directly toward funeral and memorial expenses, helping us honor Jose’s life with the dignity and peace he deserves.
If you’re unable to donate, we ask that you please share this page and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your love, support, and compassion during this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
Renita Pagan
