Losing a parent is an indescribable pain, and my heart feels heavy as I share this. My father, Jose Casanova, was not just a father to me; he was my best friend and confidant, my father was everything to me. He passed away last night, on July 3rd, 2025, leaving behind a profound absence in our lives. His loving nature extended outwardly toward anyone who needed it, animals included, especially dogs. At his age, he still had the heart of a kid, laughing and being so joyful; a strong-spirited man who was willing to continue fighting until the very end. In this time of grief, we’ve decided to create a GoFundMe page to help support our family with the unexpected costs that arise during such a difficult time. The funds raised will go toward his ceremony and helping his loved ones manage the many unexpected costs that come with such a heartbreaking loss.
