It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the tragic loss of our beloved Jose Calderon. Jose had just turned 21 years old and was celebrating his birthday with family and friends in Kent, Washington when his life was senselessly taken from us.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, uninvited individuals showed up to his birthday party. After being asked to leave, an argument escalated, and shots were fired. Jose was struck and rushed to a nearby hospital in Federal Way, where he sadly passed away from his injuries.

Jose was full of life, love, and hope for the future. He had his whole life ahead of him, and he was surrounded by people who cared deeply for him. This tragedy has left our entire family heartbroken and in unimaginable pain.

We are now asking for your help to bring Jose home to Mexico, where his parents and family wish to lay him to rest. The cost of funeral services, as well as transporting his body internationally, is overwhelming, and we are turning to our community for support.
