Help Honor the Life and Legacy of Jonathan “Jonny” Shuffield
Last week, our community lost someone truly irreplaceable. Jonathan “Jonny” Shuffield passed away suddenly in his sleep at just 50 years old, leaving his family, friends, and creative family in complete shock.
Jonny was a force of nature: an entertainer, producer, writer, director, podcaster, and wildly original creative mind. He was super talented, deeply dedicated to his art, and famous for having a million ideas a minute. That drive could make you laugh, challenge you, or occasionally drive you crazy, but it also drew other artists to him like honey to bees.
At the time of his passing, Jonny was preparing to launch his new indie sitcom, “Almost, Not Quite,” a project inspired by his own life and creative journey. His work, humor, heart, and determination touched countless people. The entire cast and crew immediately became a close family, working together on pure adrenaline and passion, and as usual for most creative projects, limited funds.
We are raising funds to help Jonny’s loved ones with final expenses and to honor the legacy of a man who gave so much of himself to his art and his community. Any donation, share, or message of love means more than words can say.
Funds will go directly to Jonny's family to cover cremation and funeral expenses, as well as any debts Jonny had outstanding. If there are any funds left over, they will go back to the creative community Jonny loved so much. Jonny's sister Tohnya will be administering the funds.
Thank you for helping us celebrate Jonny’s beautiful, unforgettable life.
