Jonathan Knight was more than just the Willow Creek branch manager at Desert Financial—he was the heart of our team and a pillar in the Prescott, Prescott Valley, and Chino Valley communities. His leadership, kindness, and unwavering commitment touched countless lives, both through his work and his deep involvement in local organizations. Jonathan served as President of the Humboldt Education Foundation and Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters, was a Chamber Ambassador for the Prescott Chamber of Commerce, and acted as Treasurer for the Prescott Downtown Partnership. He also gave his time generously to U.S. Vets, Prescott Area Shelter Services, and the Prescott Valley Active Adult Center, inspiring those around him to join in his passion for service.
This past weekend, we lost Jonathan unexpectedly. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Kassi, and their three young sons. As we honor Jonathan’s memory, we want to show his family the same compassion and support that he gave to so many. The funds raised will help Kassi and the boys feel the love of the community and continue Jonathan’s legacy of kindness and service.
If you are able, please consider making a donation to support Jonathan’s family as they move forward. If you cannot give financially, you can still honor Jonathan’s legacy by volunteering at one of the many incredible non-profits in our area. Your support—whether through a donation or an act of service—will help carry forward the spirit of generosity and compassion that Jonathan brought to our community every day.
